Nice! So How Does It Work?

Obviously there are some basic differences whether we’re on offense or defense, but fundamentally we start with “getting on the job.” We work based off an annual retainer that applies to whatever work Reyactive and our teams do for you, and then we bill based on any additional work done from there. Our billing is always upfront and transparent because we firmly believe in David Ogilvie’s philosophy that the risk of insult is far more than worth the price of being clear. Clarity is crucial when you’re dealing with time-sensitive opportunities or risks, and let’s just say it up front – we don’t typically get hired by clients that truly have all their T’s crossed and i’s dotted. There’s usually something that can and needs to be improved or we wouldn’t be needed.

By being clear we may say some things that ruffle some feathers, but what typically happens next is that the desperation, frustration, and fear usually switches to synthesis, cohesion, and collaboration, allowing you to heal and grow your company, your relationships, and your culture.

Typically Non-Refundable Retainers for Solopreneurs (1-10 employees) start at $5,000USD per year, with projected annual billings somewhere in the range of $100k (because we build a situation that’s WORTH IT to you), and Non-Refundable Retainers for Corporate Clients (11+ employees) starts at $50,000USD with an expectation that billing will likely reach somewhere in the range of $1-2.5mm annually, again because of the scale of the projects we tend to take on and their impacts to our clients’ bottom lines.

In other words, we integrate pretty thoroughly with your business in order to truly help you make it everything it could be.

Of course, we’re not a match for everyone. We may recommend that you take on a mindset coach for your executive leadership, for example, so that you’re really ready to confidently jump in and get to work with us, but we’re not going to be the ones to convince you that you need the help; we’re there to do a job, presumably one that you want or more likely need us to do. We’ll try to make it as comfortable, professional, and respectful as we can, and we expect the same standards from our clients and team members. In fact we custom build a Code of Ethics and a Code of Conduct agreement for every retainer client project to make sure we’re all on the same page from the get-go., but let’s be clear: change is and will always be uncomfortable. At Reyactive we firmly believe in embracing discomfort as a tool for growth, and we watch it carefully to make sure it’s not an impediment to growth but an asset in achieving it.
